Activities Not Requiring Work Permits

• Acquiring mineral tenure including a Claim or Mineral Exploration Licence;
• Prospecting, geological mapping, soil sampling with and geochemical sampling using hand tools only;
• Some ground survey work;
• Airborne Geophysical Survey;
• Minor trail clearing (hand felling trees with a chainsaw only);
• Claim Staking (except within a Provincial Park, which requires a Park Permit); and.
• Temporary mineral exploration tent camps (1-4 persons) for purposes of Prospecting where water is not pumped, but hand hauled is not required to be registered and does not require a Work Permit on Crown Land.
